FAQ

What are the causes of drain blockages?
There are a number of things that can cause drain problems but the most common things are wet wipes and excess tissue flushed in in toilets, Grease and Fats from sinks, dishwashers and washing machines in the kitchen and roots from plants and trees in the garden
How long will it take to unblock my drain?
The time taken to unblock a drain obviously depends on the severity and type of blockage although the majority of everyday domestic blockages are usually cleared within an hour

What is Drain Jetting?
Drain jetting is the process of clearing blocked drains using high pressure water jets
How does drain jetting work?
Water is forced through small holes in the jet nozzle from a very high pressure pump (ours works up to 3000psi) this water breaks apart the blockage and the particles that were causing the blockage are then swept away by water flowing out of further holes in the nozzle
How do I stop my drains blocking?
There are some very simple things you can do to minimise the chance of your drains backing up such as making sure you only flush toilet tissue (wipes are never flushable even if they say they are on the pack) and ensuring that grease and fats aren't poured down the kitchen sink
